COSI will host a forum from 2-5pm on Friday 15th August 2008, preceded by lunch and followed by farewell drinks for Eric Ketelaar. The purpose of the forum, which will be facilitated by Eric, is to explore the research theme IT for Social Inclusion as a possible FIT-led research platform for Monash.
Our main aim for the day will be to identify the big questions associated with the theme and the major research problems associated with the these questions. We plan to invite COSI researchers, COSI Advisory Board members and representatives from other Faculty Centres and anticipate there will be around 30 participants.
Most of the afternoon will be spent in breakout groups exploring aspects of the theme.
