Applications fail to respond from time to time. Use the task manager (Hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, select Task list). Select the frozen task and hit End Task. Use this with caution as any unsaved work will be lost.

ITS interruptions to service notices

  • RESOLUTION: my.monash - all 20091119.1

    All issues resolved since 9:30 when NIS resolved the problem with the DNS services. Between 7 - 9:30 staff were monitoring service extra carefully to ensure that services were working as expected. -------------------------------- No users were able to access my.monash and associated services from approximately 4:45am to 7:00am AEST.   • RESOLUTION: DNS Services Intermittent 20091119.2

    DNS responses to ns1a and ns6a have been intermittent.

  • RESOLUTION: Backup path to Internet 20091117.1

    Resolution: Power was restored back to the site. As such the secondary path is up and working again. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Monash's secondary path to the Internet via the Aarnet POP B node is currently down. All traffic which was using this path (i.e. VIFM) has been re-routed via monash1-gw.
