Postgraduate research scholarships are available for full-time research. Details about the scholarship application process are available from the Monash University Institute of Graduate Research. Before you apply, it is important that you consult with the Faculty as you are required to submit: the names of members of the Faculty of Technology staff who you have consulted; the name of your supervisor/proposed supervisor, and your research title and proposal.
Prospective candidates will be considered for scholarships if they hold a first class honours (H1) qualification or the equivalent. For information on what is required in a scholarship application and equivalent qualifications, please refer to Monash Research Graduate School resources:
Applicants are advised to refer to the step-by-step guide to completing the application form and consult the resources outlined above before completing a scholarship application. All applications which are deemed eligible, will be ranked by the Faculty Research Scholarships Committee according to the scholarships ranking criteria of: Qualifying degree, Research potential as presented by research publications or other awards; and if the project aligns with the Faculty's research strengths. The Scholarship Committee is chaired by the Associate Dean Research Training in the Faculty of IT. The Faculty of IT Order of Merit list is then submitted to the University for consideration.
