How do I submit my thesis for examination?
See Procedures for examination
When and how to apply to graduate?
There are two application dates each year. These are around 30 November (to graduate in semester 1) and 30 April (to graduate in semester 2). Please see the graduation site for details. (http://www.monash.edu.au/graduations/).
You can apply to graduate IF your thesis is under examination BUT you will not be able to graduate unless the final grade for the BIS(Hons) is submitted at the latest one month prior to the ceremony. To ensure you/we meet this unmovable deadline, the cut-off time is 5-6 weeks prior to the ceremony. If your results are not submitted by this time, you will need to withdraw from that graduation ceremony, and apply for the following ceremony. For example: The graduation ceremony is 12 May 2005, so all needs to be finished/stamped/lodged/grade amended/ by 1st April 2005.
