Master of Digital Communications

The Master of Digital Communications (MDC) will not be offered to new students from 2009. The MDC has been replaced by the Master of Information Technology (MIT) and Master of Applied Information Technology (MAIT). The MIT, MAIT and their associated degrees are offered at Caulfield campus.

As advised by the Faculty in June 2008, Master of Digital Communications students completing their degrees in 2010 will be required to enrol in their remaining units at Caulfield campus OR via off-campus learning (OCL). All Information Technology on-campus postgraduate units (with the exeption of Minor thesis units) will run at Caulfield campus only in 2010.

Re-enrolment for 2010

The Monash University re-enrolment period begins on Monday 12 October and ends on Monday 23 November. All continuing students are required to re-enrol during this period.

Please follow the steps below in order to re-enrol:

  1. Identify the 2010 unit codes you wish to enrol in and check thet your expected course completion is on track.
  2. Refer to the Faculty of Information Technology re-enrolment web page for important information and a link to the Web Enrolment System (WES):

Transitional arrangements for current Master of Digital Communications students

Students should see the 2008 Handbook entry for details of the Master of Digital Communications course requirements.

Students who commenced the Master of Digital Communications prior to 2007 should contact Michelle Leclair (Michelle.Leclair@infotech.monash.edu.au) to discuss their re-enrolment and course progression.
