Undergraduate Honours Degree Application Process

Only domestic and international students with high undergraduate results may apply for a bachelor honours degree.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 30th NOVEMBER, 2010 (for semester 1 entry), or 30th JUNE, 2010 (for semester 2 entry).

Step 1 - Seek course advice

Talk to the honours coordinator about the unit selection and organising supervisors.

Step 2 - Application Form

Download the Undergraduate Honours application form.

Step 3 - Gather supporting documents

The applicant must provide the following information:

Step 4 - Send your application and supporting documents

Applications and supporting documents should be sent to the relevant home campus of the degree. The campus addresses are provided in the form.

Step 5 - Wait for the letter of offer

Applications are assessed by Honours sub-committee or nominated honours coordinator:

  1. If an application is rejected, you will be advised.
  2. If requirements are satisfied, depending on specific Honours degree requirements, you will be sent a letter or telephoned to arrange an interview.
  3. If the interview is satisfactory, you will be sent a letter of offer (otherwise a letter of "not successful" is sent).

Letters of offer will be sent to successful applicants in early July (if applicable) or December. Please follow the instructions outlined in the letter for enrolment dates, times and locations.

Step 6 - Accept your offer (enrol)
