Updating your Staff Directory details

To update the following:

  • Common name (preferred name)
  • Postal address
  • Fax number
  • Mobile number
  • Homepage URL
  • Teaching commitment
  • Qualifications
  • Photo (recommended size is 125 x 150 pixels)
  • Research interests

Use the Modify Your MDS Details page.*

 To update the following:

  • Position title
  • Phone number
  • Location

Please contact your local telephone delegate  to request that they update your details.

*Please be aware that it can take up to 2-3 days for the MDS changes to be published.

Where does the information come from?

The Information Technology Staff Directory reads from the data currently present in the the Monash Directory Service (MDS) - which in turn reads from different databases. Online Services does not maintain your information. For more information regarding the Monash Directory Service, please visit the Monash Directory Service web site.

Displaying additional content

If you have information that you want to display on your staff directory page that is not available through the MDS field list, please submit a support request and include the relevant content.

Further development

There are further developments underway to extend our directory to include information which is specifically relevant to IT staff. If you have any suggestions or queries about these upgrades, please contact the webmaster.
